  17. Well, I haven't used Finale, but yes, B&P has a tool "Spare Keys", which 
  18. allows the keyboard to be used to enter music realtime. Unfortunately, 
  19. some of the keystrokes are also shortcuts, so the "v" key causes the 
  20. "visual" metronome to start (!), and so on...... 
  21. The track window will display staff notation, if chosen from the menu. It 
  22. is not professional quality though - tied eighth notes instead of quarter 
  23. notes, etc. The timing is very accurate, however (it seems to me).
